I had not heard the total number of vehicles, but I knew protocol indicated that there would be vehicles, at least for her and the kid. Wow.
I'm not sure how many they brought with them, and how many are consular loaners, etc. I recall the Clintons flew a motorcade to China when they went, and frankly, I would not want the headache of 'clearing' a local vehicle as being completely devoid of any threat, including surveillance and bugs.
Though for the life of me, I can't think of why any of America's enemies would wish either of the Obamas ill.
