But sometimes I wonder why the Republicans (including some here on FreeRepublic) behave the same way as Democrats.
Considering all she's been through, and the gracious way she's handled all the attacks (especially the personal ones) I would have thought that people here and elsewhere on the right would be a little less short sighted and have a more positive outlook on her potential for the future.
I guess there's just no pleasing some folks.
Oh well. I think she's doing fine, and she certainly has learned a lot since she was thrown into the national spotlight, what with the liberal media in a feeding frenzy, thanks to John McCain's weak candidacy.

those on the “right” attacking her want to keep their gravy train running just like those on the left.
the Mitt folks see Mitt has the good times of bush and rove and Obama continuing. they see Palin as a threat to them.
I agree with you, airborne, and the criticism here is sometimes valid and sometimes just plain needless and democrat sounding.
Like you, I think she’s done herself exceedingly well since she’s been on her own. She’s changed the national conversation more times than I can remember right now, and she commands instant media attention whether she wants it or not.

Sarah is plain spoken and that seems to just kill the elites while it thrills me to no end. She calls herself and us “Common sense conservatives.” I think that’s right.
