Golda Meir was a teacher.
Margret Thatcher was The Secretary of State for Education and Skills.
Benazir Bhutto was trained as a nurse.
None were ever the Governor of a state bigger than all of their countries combined.
Palin has more executive experience governing than either of the Democrat candidates in this race.

Reasons one through ten is that she’s a woman, and too many want to play the gender card or the race card if it’s available.

We need to get Palin experience for the run in 2012. Hillary figures Obama will lose. That is why she is magnanimous. She plans on being the candidate in 2012.
Palin needs to be something big in the new Administration. Something like Secretary of War. Oh wait, they changed the name...
;-o)

I cannot have faith in palin being President, I happen to live in Wasilla, Alaska where she was mayor, all those years I never saw her with leadership capabilities.
I wish the cheerleaders would realize that she is not presidential material.

And here is the one overwhelming reason why Sarah Palin is NOT ready for prime time, and has no business being on a national ticket this election cycle:
- absolutely NO national security experience or expertise.
America is at war with Islamofascist terrorism, and faces the possibility of a renewed Cold War with Moscow.
Any Vice President needs to be able to step up to Commander-in-Chief at a moment's notice, without needing training wheels. Having a son in the Army, while admirable, does not qualify as 'national security experience'.
Nice try, but no cigar and welcome to FR. We now return you to our regularly scheduled reality.

“Palin needs to be something big in the new Administration.”
Maybe Secretary of the Interior. I think it was AK governor Wally Hickle who was Sec’y. of the Interior at one time — for Nixon, maybe. Palin seems to have a lot of knowledge in that area.

Pawlenty looks weak to me. Passive. To me he looks like a doofus.
Palin looks good, Cantor looks good and Romney does too.
And I don't just mean their looks or appearance, but their strength or appearance of strength.
I want whomever is going to get the most votes to defeat that arrogant, narcissistic, commie, leftist, socialist, anti American phony and future traitor Barak Hussein Obambi.

"....Unlike many conservatives, however, she is sensitive to gay concerns about discrimination. Palins is the first administration in Alaskas history, to provide benefits to the partners of gay and lesbian employees. " This is trying to have it both ways. She is going to end up pissing off both conservatives for her liberal compromises, and libs/gays for her refusing to go the whole nine yards for them on homo marriage. She ought to just stake out a principled position and keep it, rather than standing in the middle.
Standing in the middle is the essence of RINOism.

How can you not like Palin???

That was exactly what I was going to post. Very RINOish and NOT conservative.
Other things look pretty good on the surface but...

What a day! After seeing Sarah on TV and how she handled her acceptance I was truly stunned!
