I’d prefer Palin, but it’s Pawlenty. He’s satisfactory.

Looks like my choices would be Mitt first, Sara second and Pawlenty last because of his stand on global warming.

REASON #2: PALIN SUPPORTS TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, BUT DEFENDS GAY RIGHTS Palin supports the traditional definition of marriage, and opposes same-sex marriage. Unlike many conservatives, however, she is sensitive to gay concerns about discrimination. Palins is the first administration in Alaskas history, to provide benefits to the partners of gay and lesbian employees.

Reason #11: she's younger than me, and easy on the eyes. Cheney might rule the world with an iron fist, but he looks lousy in a low-cut dress. LOL

She is hot :-). I’m a women, but she would stand out on a ticket, especially if she has the foundation to be on the ticket. (important as she may be the next president in case anything happens to McCain.)

Pawlenty last because of his stand on global warming
That may just be the reason he's possibly the choice....I read earlier that the platform is going "hardball" on the abortion issues, but will show "willingness to bend" on all this climate BS.

Actually, I think I agree. I’d certainly vote for McCain if Palin were the VP nominee. I think she’s the best. I just don’t think that Pawlenty would cause a McCain supporter to stay home or vote 3d party or for Obama.
A safe, sturdy pick, not an exciting one, as Palin would’ve been.
To: lpmorrow
I’m sorry, but if John McCain were to die a few months into his presidency - I don’t think Palin would be ready to step into the oval office. I think a VP should be someone who is qualified to be President RIGHT NOW.
The future may be bright for Gov. Palin - but I just don’t think she’s ready for this right now.

Just from her bio she stands as completely the opposite of O,Hill, and Loudmouth Joe—especially when it comes to butchering babies.
