Pretty sad, that the candidate who adheres to the Constitution is denigrated the most.
People who have sold their souls don’t like to be reminded of that fact. Thus, “conservatives” who claim to believe in the constitution, but has long since sold it out, don’t like to see someone on TV actually standing up for it.
Oh I like Ron Paul just fine. Unfortunately he’s willing to allow the islamderthal horde overrun the world and willing to leave a man in prison for lying about a crime that was never committed.
Most other things I agree with him on.
The FReepers bashing Ron Paul seem to miss this point.
Most FReepers apparently seem to love Big Brother when a (R) lives at 1600. When there’s a (D) they’ll suddenly start caring again about little things like habeus, surveillance, etc.
A “Mr. Silverback” (apparently a gorilla in the mist with a PC) and I went ‘round and ‘round about Ron, me defending a man I’ve known and respected for 30 years and Silverback declaring that Ron’s interpretation of the Constitution was a “suicide pact” for America.
I like Ron Paul a lot. I don’t think he’s realistic about the Islamofascist threat, so that rules him out for me. But it was great to have him in the debate actually (gasp) talking about Constitutional principles.
Don’t worry about it Freerepubic is losing respect
Check Alexa their ratings are going down.
Ron Paul will pass them up soon.
People here are not willing to have any intelligent conversation they can only resort to name calling and trash talk
