What man? Clinton? Paul voted to impeach him even though Clinton lied about a crime that was never committed. Actually, like Scooter, Clinton did a commit a felony: perjury. The double standard on both sides of the spectrum on these two perjurers is so obvious as to be almost comical. Only Paul is consistent in condeming both men for doing the same thing.
Thank you.
Paul: "No. He doesn't need a pardon. But he doesn't need it because he was instrumental in the misinformation that led the Congress and the people to support a war that we didn't need to be in."
Sounds like Paul is saying Libby should spend time in jail for a non-crime he didn't commit. Kind of upside-down, and backwards.
Scooter should never have been put in the position of having to lie in the first place.
Fitzfong knew who the leaker was before the investigation started, yet he let it take place.
I’m not defending the lying (debatable), but to equate Libby with His Slickness is more than a little fatuous.
Clinton committed perjury, and admitted to the commission. Scooter Libby was convicted of committing perjury. Conviction does not always equate to guilt. Simply because Libby was not able to recall minor details about a conversation he had years before does not mean he lied under oath. Libby is a victim of the liberal's agenda to get President Bush and VP Cheney no matter what the cost to our Republic.
