Excellent point. LOL. I know about the quality of many of the "men in the world," but I never could connect being disillusioned with men to going lesbian. To me, a hetero female, the choice has always been: A man or celibacy.
A large percentage of lesbians were molested wshen young. Same for male homosexuals. When little girls are molested by men, it is a horrible terrifying and painful experience that scars them terribly. Some become extra-sexualized towards men at an early age, some turn to women, and some deal with it. And more and more adult lesbians are seducing adolescent girls. It's very very sad, I've seen it happen to a close relative. Now this person really wants children and family but having chosen the "gay" path it's an empty, miserable future.
