If some conservative, using the slippery slope analogy, predicted that something
like this would appear most would have said that that person was
delusional, even just a few years ago. This whole Gay/Lesbian political
movement is astonishingly powerful, given that it's AT MOST 5% of the
population. Perhaps it's political power has come so easily because it
serves the ends so well of another political agenda that is even LESS
palatable to the public than the Gay/Lesbian agenda?

If some conservative, using the slippery slope analogy, predicted that something like this would appear most would have said that that person was delusional, even just a few years ago. This whole Gay/Lesbian political movement is astonishingly powerful After 21 posts of mostly laughing at this, someone finally gets it. They are TREMENDOUSLY powerful, perhaps more powerful than any other political group in America. This is a strategy planned and executed for 4 decades, which has come to fruition. The GOP has already surrendered to it. There is nothing funny at all about this. I live in NYC and we are getting the hell out of here to protect our children. This is truly a nightmare for America.
