A few years ago some Clovis artifacts were found in Canada and while the exact dating was disputed, it was not in the right place at the right time, it was considerably earlier than is permitted under the land-bridge idea. So how was it disputed? One of the future laureates said, "any dude could have put that there." Yeah, I'm sure some Eskimos found it in western Alaska 200 years ago, moved into southern Canada, and dropped it there.
