I liked it. It was very well acted. Pacino, as always, was great.

As for anti-smoking laws, I have no problem whatsoever if a local or state body decides to restrict smoking in public places. It's up to the electorate in those regions, IMO.

Nothing is worse than a non-smoking smoker. This guy is just *dying* for a cigarette, and because he won't allow himself the pleasure, he wants to make sure no one else is allowed to seek satisfaction. I've seen this bit of theatre played out hundreds of times. Sanctimonious hipocrits, all of 'em.

What is so utterly bigoted about this man is that he used to smoke 3 packs a day....and did so without government interference. However, now that he hates cigarettes, he thinks the government should make every one else think just like him. Smokers should not have the same freedom he had when he was a smoker.

Here in the South there are two kinds of people from the north. Yankees and damnyankees. The yankees go home, the damnyankees don't.

I live 2 hours from Charleston and rarely go there because it's crowded dirty and the hottest place outside of hell. If they enact a city-wide smoking ban on the alter of some modern-day damnyankee reconstructionist, I will surely never return to Charleston and will relate same to Charleston's worm of a mayor as well.

There are people I have known that smoked well into their 80's. There have been young people who died of heart problems and cancer that never smoked. Life's a crapp shoot. But definitely you will die.
