A sympathetic interview with Jules Feiffer about his newest play which just opened at the Lincoln Center. His opus relates the trouble a family of dedicated communists had in Brooklyn during the McCarthy era. Some nice slaps at George W. Bush in the interview.

The opening pages of today's Magazine were infuriating. The anti-Republican letters, this article and a suck-up photo of Castro and his Venezuelan sycophant/imitator.

I always enjoyed working on the Sunday Times' crossword; now, I buy the Sunday Times about once every 6 weeks or so (it's $3.50 in the NY area). When I bought the paper on Saturday when I went food shopping, I got a coupon for $1.50 off; so, I bought it on Sunday. I got hopping mad just like you: the Castro kissy face crapola continues to go on even after the b*stard arrested 100s of "dissidents."

I really hate the Times--"The Paper of [a terrible] Record."
