I'm at least as objective as you.
"Feel free to hurl at me the insult, "heterosexual!""
I don't feel it's an insult. Feel free to make weird assumptions about what I'll say next, however.

"I also came from a two parent household.. my parents are still together... and I have 3 brothers. So there really isn't much of a difference."
Obviously, something is different. I also was brought up with religion which gives a child a stong sense of right and wrong. It also gives comfort to believe in God and so you never really feel alienated even in tough times. I understand the need for the concept of God in peoples lives, otherwise life is really meaningless.
I wish the best for you, really. I will say that I am very opinionated....it is a weakness in some ways and I hope I did not offend you. I didn't mean to but I am quite a bit like Dr. Laura when it comes to children. Having 5 children and working in schools for years, I know just how vulnerable they are and how easy it is to harm them.

I didn't say impossible.. I said lower. And this link is agreeing with what I said. Thanks. I was wondering why Polycarp posted that. It actually proves your point.

"Is this necessary?"
It's necessary to Poly. I don't care, since most lurkers probably recognize who is being unreasonable here. If they don't, they're the choir he preaches to.

Lesbians show similar patterns of high venereal disease incidence relative to the general population. They are 19 times more likely to have had syphilis, twice as likely to have had genital warts, four times as likely to have had scabies, seven times more likely to have had infection from vaginal contact, 29 times more likely to have had oral infection from vaginal contact and 12 times more likely to have had an oral infection from penile contact ("Medical Aspects of Homosexuality," Institute for the Scientific Investigation of Sexuality, 1985, Jaffe and Keewhan, et al.).

See.. what I find odd is that in studies about lesbians, this is part of the findings...

"Whoa... that's ALL wrong."
You are proof that lesbianism isn't inherited. The studies done in the 80's on twins also proved that it was not genetic---identical twins--seperated at birth-one would be straight and the other homosexual....explain that if it isn't conditioning and environment......also most if not all of the Catholic priest homosexuals who abused 90% of adolescent boys confessed that they had been molested as boys. (They did not inherit "the urge" from their fathers.)
There is a study which shows that the first sexual experience you have as an adolescent will determine your orientation.....A lot of men who are homosexual were seduced before they were 16. And also....why does NAMBLA have the saying ---if not by eight, then it is too late..)
Sorry--to end the coversation but I have to paint!!!

Suppose it is a recessive trait?
"The studies done in the 80's on twins also proved that it was not genetic"
They didn't PROVE it.. probably even Polycarp would tell you nothing is definitely proven as to the cause of homosexuality.
"There is a study which shows that the first sexual experience you have as an adolescent will determine your orientation"
Well then.. I ought to be heterosexual. Only I'm not. So now what?
"And also....why does NAMBLA have the saying ---if not by eight, then it is too late."
Don't confuse homosexuals with those a-holes from NAMBLA.
"Sorry--to end the coversation but I have to paint!!!"
No problem. Enjoy, and happy Mother's Day!! :-)
