MARIETTA -- Cobb County police on Thursday arrested the former professional wrestler known as Lex Lugar after authorities found a controlled substance in his home while investigating the death of a woman who died after she was rushed early Thursday from his residence to the hospital.
Elizabeth Hulette, 42, known in the wrestling world as Miss Elizabeth, was taken from the Cobb town home owned by Lawrence Pfohl, who wrestled professionally as Lex Lugar.
Rescue workers were summoned around 5:30 a.m. to the home, which is located off of Powers Ferry Road, Cobb police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud said.
He said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital shortly after she arrived, but authorities have not yet determined her cause of death.
"At this point, we don't know if it's a suicide, we don't know if it's a natural death (and) we don't know if it's a homicide," said Staud, who added later that there was no indication of foul play.
The woman was transported to Kennestone by ambulance. Authorities said Pfohl, 44, rode with her to the hospital. Neighbors said the woman was Pfohl's girlfriend.
Hulette had been married to the wrestler known as Marcho Man Randy Savage but the two are now divorced.
Pfohl owns the Main Event fitness club in Cobb County.
Several hours after Hulette was pronounced dead, Pfohl was taken into custody after investigators found the illegal substance in his home.
Authorities said police recently responded to a domestic disturbance call at his home two weeks ago, during which Pfohl was arrested for allegedly beating Hulette, according to a copy of the police report. He was out on a $2,500 bond in connection with that incident when he was re-arrested on the controlled substance charge. It was not immediately clear what the substance was.

Pot used to mellow me too but if you look at all the urban gangstas and vatos who smoke weed copiously and still kill the hell out of each other...or anyone in the way of their poor chickenshit aim.
Pot is not the pacifier it was amongst longhairs anymore.

Man, this sucks-I remember being a little kid and watching 'Pipers Pit' and all of these guys were going their thing, much more fun and campy than the steriod fests are today.
Miss Elizabeth really was a beautfiul lady, she died much too soon..

The ones I've had experience with smoke like Dreads. It always confused me...the appetite for violence when stoned...not something I was used to.

Miss Elizabeth was mostly fake...even the boobs. And based on what one wrestler told me once...she was a bit dim on brains. But one deserves to die like this. Thats the sad part of the story. There are so many wrestling deaths these days.....
