Enough to take everything he says with a grain of salt. Seriously, there are plenty of valid reasons to resist the homosexual agenda without pandering to the dark side of people's emotions.
But if invoking the oldest, most heinous stereotypes of homos makes people feel good about themselves, so be it. It doesn't really serve any other purpose.
