You're playing silly, transparent games. Homsexuality has been made the basis of a political movement that employs the language of the civil rights movement, which was based on racial and ethnic characteristics that are passive and inborn. This was quite deliberate on the gay activists' part, and its success is measured by the fact that many Americans have been conned into accepting homosexuality as a kind of third or fourth biological gender. Regardless of what the dictionary tells you (and it isn't much) common sense and science tell you homosexuality is not on the same plane as race, gender, or ethnicity.
Making homsexuality the basis of a political movement is really no different than making urination on the public streets the basis of a political movement because the actor feels an "attraction" or compulsion to urinate on the public streets. Take it home, keep it out of public view. Have a sense of shame. Please.

No one thinks of homosexuality as an extra gender. Or.. no one I've ever known.
