Assemblyman John Dutra, D-Fremont, wants to suspend the mountain of paperwork reports ordered by lawmakers each year. Sen. Tom McClintock, R-Simi Valley, is seeking creation of an outside commission to propose bureaucratic cuts or realignments.
Assemblyman John Longville, D-Rialto, is pushing for a ballot measure to kill lawmakers' $121 daily living expenses for each day they're late in passing a budget.

I would hope someone destroys the myth that the public sector is more efficient than the private sector!
It will not be the labor Unions that do though, since that is only area where their membership is growing!
