Francisco Esparza, a construction worker from Sylmar, said that while his income is limited, he'd rather pay more in taxes than witness a decline in services, especially police. Esparza said he travels regularly to Tecate, Mexico, to visit his 5-month-old son and immediately notices the higher quality of services and infrastructure in the United States.

Yeah, he doesn't mind the higher taxes and likes our infrastructure better than Mexico's....He's probably one of the bottom 50% that's paying almost nothing in taxes, but is sucking up a lot of social services. Glad you like the amenities that other people are paying for, buddy.

I wonder if he's one of those "contractors" who pays no income or SSI or Medicare tax at all, maybe not even here legally so especially likes the nice services provided by the taxpayers.
