I used to love screaming down the river at 100 mph on my snowmobile. But I didn't force anyone to RIDE WITH ME! And I guess Mr. Twinkie didn't put others who happened to be on that same river at risk? Far more risk than smoking has ever put a bystander. Wonder if those folks he put at risk were there willingly, knowing that this idjit was going to come screaming at them at 100 mph?
Gawd, I detest these people--every last one of the arrogant, elitist fools.

you will not be allowed to eat a cheese omelette ANYWHERE, due to high calories,Want to bet that the cheese omelette comes with fried potatoes, bacon or sausage, and toast with butter?
Now, that's a lawsuit!

good point!

More nonsense from a "lifestyle tyrant." The tyrants are drug addicts who insist on their so-called "right" to inflict their filthy, dangerous smoke on normal peoples' lungs. You nicotine junkies are a menace to everyone else. You're worse than heroin addicts; at least they don't force me to shoot up with them.

Gov't is too addicted to the tax revenue.
Like they are too addicted to lottery revenue.
Both taxes are taxes on the poor and stupid.

Cute. But this has nothing to do with religion or race. Junkies are junkies no matter what they look like. I don't want to suck in their poisonous smoke. I think adults who smoke around children are as bad as child molesters.

Where are you...in some little room somewhere with people blowing smoke in your face? You have your own free will. If you're around people who are smoking and you don't like it, than LEAVE. Nobody is FORCING you to do anything. YOU want to FORCE other people to stop smoking for your own convienence....at least be honest with yourself about who wants to force who to do what.

Oh, brother-- religion, race? It's usually obvious, but let me splain-- Adolf was very much opposed to Tobacco and alcohol. That was one of his many posters in those days.
I would like to see tobacco made illegal(in U.S.A.), as maybe you. But even more so, I want to see the comments from liberals like Meathead Reiner opposing the ban and hear your comments about this ant-tobacco crusader not wanting to see rhe product out-lawed.

I think adults who smoke around children are as bad as child molesters.Well then you have a major problem with your value system - that's a very disturbing statement. Go away.
To: Born in a Rage
Well then you have a major problem with your value system Far more young children will grow up to die of tobacco-related illness-- every year-- than will ever be killed or harmed by all the perverts who ever lived.
Most of them will be following the poor example of a foolish parent or other adult role model. Some will never smoke, but die nonetheless, since their foolish, self-centered, drug addicted parents will smoke while they are pregnant or while the infant's lungs are developing.
Who's got a problem with their value system? Drug addicted nicotine junkies, that's who.
By all means, drop the hammer on child abusers, but treat anyone who deliberately blows poisonous smoke into a baby's lungs as a child abuser too.

If you're around people who are smoking and you don't like it, than LEAVE. Exhibit A in the lineup of nicotine junkies who want to force those around them to accommodate their filthy habit. I'd like to see their cancer sticks extinguished with fire hoses full in the face.

Ya know, if a total ban across Canada turns out to hurt Canada business and tax revenues, couldn't the government just pass a law to ban tobacco everywhere in the world?Sshh, the UN already has ideas in that direction.
To: William Creel
Tobacco is evil, it kills people slowly, but yet addicts them to it at the same time. Tobacco companies are evil, as they are just a more sophisticated version of the corner drug dealer, selling death for profit. But I still think that an out-right ban is bad idea.At least big tobacco and smokers are paying hefty taxes, thats more than can be said about druggies and dealers, yet they are tolerated, even pampered....... something wrong with this picture.

Judging by the pictures, Laurie is a male, at least in outward appearance. Looks like an overweight twinkie.Being a male with a name like Laurie, small wonder he's got his knickers in a twist.
