California has the highest concentration of fruits and nuts per capita. It's that simple.

No, because even fruits and nuts vote republican.

The fact of the matter is, that California has the highest percentage of immigrants, and the highest percentage of new immigrants, who are overwelmingly democrat.

The vote of California and the electing of Gray Davis is just an example of what is to be all over america,

Davis took San francisco, with 66% of the vote. San Francisco is mostly immigrant, mostly from asia and latins, who are almost always democrat. Davis took all the immigrant localities, Los Angeles, Glendale, Santa Anna, Dale city, etc.

These new immigrants are unlike the immigrants of old, who split their vote among republicans and democrats, these are liberals coming in, and they dont like guns either - quite the oppositte of immigrants of old.

There is nothing we can do to stop it, our elections will be controlled by these people all accross the land very soon, since both the republicans and democrats want them to flood our country and to increase our population and congestion to 400 million by 2050, and 1 billion by the end of the century.

Davis won so big in San Francisco because of the GAY vote. The gays were scared to death of Simon and they don't really care about economic issues, only gay rights. That's why Davis won so big in SF, not the immigrant vote.

Simon ran a horrible campaign. He should have run against Davis's record instead of focusing so hard on Davis's corrupt fundraising tactics. Releasing that photo, which turned out to be nothing, was stupid, stupid, stupid.

Obviously, Parsky needs to go too. The main job of the party chairman is to get out the vote. He failed at this and should be replaced.

I cannot believe they are suggesting that Simon run against Boxer. Forget it...Simon should try for a House seat before he tries another statewide candidacy. His inexperience at running a campaign was part of his problem.

It really is sad though. With only 48% of Republicans voting, he still got 42% of the overall vote. The California GOP should be ashamed. They could have won this, despite Simon's mistakes.
