In the school where I vote, they accommodate two precincts back-to-back. I asked about turnout at both tables. Aso of about 12:30pm Pacific time, it was running around 16%, which is low even for mid-term elections. Hard to know if this poor turnout is holding up elsewhere in California.

That's certainly consistent with what I'm seeing at my precinct.

What percentage of people vote in the morning versus the evening? I would have thought the results would be back-loaded - you'd get most activity in the evening, so the 16% could balloon to a more respectable level.

I will swing over to my polling place when I get off work to see how much activity there is, and report back on this thread.
