Too funny!...I think Republicans should take credit for this, whether they did it or not. These signs are doing a service to intelligent voters who shouldn't have their votes cancelled-out by morons. Anyone who believes these signs is a moron, and shouldn't inflict his stupidity on the rest of us.

Blah blah blah blah blah...

The media picked Riordan as their darling. The GOP voters saw Riordan for what he was and voted against him. WE chose, WE chose, WE chose the best candidate. Stop crying about March. It doesn't become you, suckaaaaaa!

Gee, Com, it's hard to understand what you're saying when you yell like that, but I think you just said yes, you would be terribly upset if Simon wins.

BTW I would never have voted for Riordan because he's further left than Davis and just as much of a crook IMO. I voted for Simon in the primary. I and many other Republican Californians selected Simon, not the pitiful Gray Davis. I will vote for Simon again tomorrow. Try not to take it too hard if he wins.

And Davis is always helped by the eat-your-own tendencies of the Republican party, whose members can always be counted on to shoot down candidates, spin half-truths about them, and cast their sage advice out from the safety of their armchairs -- but always in hindsight. Rather than supporting the candidate, they take up stones with the media to bring him down. With friends such as these...well, you know the old saying.

Your position is nonsensical. You know full well that the California GOP selected Simon as their candidate. Stop the unprovable conspiracy theories and your own mad vendetta against Simon. I sure hope you don't live in California -- but it honestly wouldn't surprise me if you did. Your actions have done more on FR to savage your own party than any Davis operative. That is a peculiar honor, indeed.

John & Ken, the two most popular afternoon drive time talk show hosts in the LA area are going to be replaying their freep of Davis' campaign office with the debate chicken and the eGray hooker tomorrow in the 3 O'clock hour!

These guys are no conservatives. They tend more toward the rabble rouser. I call them Heckle and Jeckle, but they have stuck with Simon through the whole campaign. They absolutely HATE Davis! I think they have their finger on the pulse of Los Angeles. For those who didn't hear it, they even interviewed Simon again today. Things are looking rosy for us. Now we all need to drag our friends to the polls!

Simon refused to take advise or help from the Republican party. He has thumbed his nose at the Bush administration and the RNC while demanding they pour money down his rat hole.

You are a typical Simon Supporter. Simon called every shot in this campaign his own stupid way. He refused all help and advise from the RNC. Then he blames the Republican party for his total defeat.

You refuse to take responsibility for your own disasterous campaign.

"It's all over," said Garry South, the governor's senior adviser, with a Cheshire cat smile aboard Davis' chartered 727 airplane. "All over but the shoutin'."

DEWEY WINS!

KCAL's reporter (who has been following Simon for months) just said that "Simon admits he's six points behind"

I've NEVER EVER heard SIMON say that.

I've been following the election very closely and even attended some events... plus I've been following the comments of the campaign staff. No one believes what KCAL just reported.

Just goes to show who is owned by Disney.

Davis spent 9 million dollars in attack ads on Riordan. They painted Riordan as being way to liberal for Republicans. And suckers like you bought it. That is the way negative campaigns work. They drive down a candidates support in his own party.

Why else would Davis spend 9 million Democrat dollars in primary race in which Davis was was unopposed. He spent the 9 million attacking Riordan so he could run against Simon. Davis knew he could not beat Riordan. He and his staff were certain they could beat Simon. The papers the day after the primary were full of gloating statements about how Davis had played with the Republican base and won.

Go back and read what the Davis campaign was telling the press the day after the primary. It is very intersting to see exactly how right the Davis campaign was about what would take place in this race. They predicted what would happen and tommorow will prove that it has.

Both candidates selected by Democrats.

No. Bill Simon won because people voted for him. Riordan didn't make a compelling statement to the GOP because Riordan's mouth writes checks that OTHERS have to cash.

Riordan did not represent change. Simon does.

Do you have ANY credibility left? Riordan IS tooooo liberal for Republicans. WE said it here long before Gray Devious ever said anything. WE said he was a 'Rat in GOP clothing. WE said he was a loose cannon. WE were right in everything we said. Riordan was practically annointed as the GOP choice and HE blew it. He insulted the base. He looked like an idiot in the debates. Riordan would NOT have been competitive against Davis. If Davis could do as much damage as you claim in just two months, imagine the damage Davis would have done in seven months.

Enough of your rhetoric. I don't know whether to laugh at you or pity you. You're just plain boring now. Toodles.

SUCKAAAAAAAAA!

Just saw on KTVU2 out of Oakland that Davis could only get about 30% turn out in SF today even with paying the homeless to show up.

Ah Ha! You must be the one who was putting up those signs in the getto areas saying "the voting has been changed to Wednesday, Nov. 6."

Huh, huh?? You're the one, right?? LOL

KTVU said the crowd was very light and then the camera panned the Square showing a sparse crowd including some senile citizens bussed in for the event.

Are you the author of the Chron article?
