We should pull a NJ. Stick Bill Jones in.
No, we should grow cajones and support OUR guy, rather than turn tail and run when the going gets tough.
Like it or not, please face the REALITY.
There are TWO CHOICES:Bill Simon
Gray Davis.
If you are against Simon, you are FOR Davis.

I am not against Simon. Do you discipline and instruct your children? Do you love your children?
Of course on both counts. Simon's staffers are boneheads. I have no problem with Simon. I think he's been given bad advice.
I don't think Gordon Humphrey was a bad man. I think Jim Rubens is the Devil, though, and made Humphrey's campaign go up in flames. Same situation.

About "cajones"... I'm not very impressed with the backbone of some of the Freepers here. At the first sign of negative press, they run for cover. It's like an entire battalion running for the hills when a bunch of kids with pop guns fire. Where's the huevos? Scrambled...apparently.
The press has some leverage, but to publish these incoherent, babbling, negative statements about a guy who is NOT BOUGHT OUT BY Liberal Washington DC money... well, they look like they're liberal lurkers...who want to believe their fantasies about the governor's financial scandals.
