If you are the type of person who is unable to see the implications in the present I guess you will need to wait until some future time for someone called an historian to tell you what happened.
This is not a matter for historians. It is an observable characteristic of GW. One need not possess a Master's Degree in The Painfully Obvious to notice this. To dismiss such observations as being better decided by future academics is to absolve one's self for the responsibility of making moral decisions about the character of people who hold power. This is what they do in lesser nations without the Law, certainly not in the USA, where such discernment is the basic criteria for responsible citizenship.
