Peter Camejo, a fluent Spanish speaker from New York who was born to Venezuelan parents, is running for governor under the Green Party. He is making a serious attempt to woo disgruntled Latino voters from the other two mainstream parties, especially the Democrats.
But Camejo's views on immigration certainly raise a few eyebrows. "We think that immigration is what made America great, especially the Mexicans," said Camejo, standing in the center of the banquet hall as it emptied in preparation for the Democratic dinner a few hours later. "This is a part of Mexico, this is territory taken from Mexico, and we're for amnesty for the people who are here."

I totally disagree. We should encourage this yahoo. Call it the Ross Perot strategy for defeating a real threat---Gray Davis.
I think about this a lot, too. "Respecting women" is kinda easy - women rule a large portion of the planet. "Respecting property rights" is harder to find. "Not hating white people," however, will be impossible. Eliminating white people is high on the To-Do list of the planet's non-white population.
Look what happend to South Africa and Rhodesia when they tried to carve a little white oasis out of an entire continent. The world crushed them. In 20 years white people will be a minority in America. In 100 years or so, there will be no white-majority nations left and the hatred will accelerate. How long after that before we are driven into extinction?
500 years from now, the world will have devolved back into a primitive savagery. People will gather around their camp fires and tell myths about the olden days when people could fly and get all the food they could eat by opening magical metal tubes and the witch doctors had powerful potions that cured the sick and kept people alive forever. And they will scare their kids with stories of the Evil White Man who ruined everything.
Too late. You Texans are doomed, tambien. In fact, according to the 2000 Census, Texas is 32.4% Hispanic compared to California's 32.0%. More Hispanics live in Texas than people live in 38 of the 50 states.
You know, I don't feel too sorry for "Ya'll" either, since I hear so many Texans rave about how useful their little brown serfs are...
This would be an extremely stupid and short-sighted strategy. California's Hispanics are a rising power. White American liberals will look pretty good in comparison once mestizo Mexicans take over. White liberals, for example, don't usually engage in home invasions, drive-by's, racially motivated terror rape and other forms of ethnic cleansing. Not even in California.
And who did the Mexicans take it from, Senor Camejo? Hmmmmmm????
All is not (quite) lost yet - we here in the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs area) have a Republican candidate - Bonnie Garcia - running for state office....she beat the local La Quinta mayor - also a Republican named John Pena (great guy) - in the primary.....a first for Kalifornia as far as I know; two Latino REPUBS battling it out.........and Bonnie is about 8 to 1 ahead of her democrat opposition in fundraising.....it's close, but all is not quite lost yet.
Unfortunately, ain't gonna happen....Davis had a banner day today on two fronts.
1 - The Simon legal judgement = death knell on it's own.
2 - This "Amber Alert" bizniss all over the news tonite, regarding kidnapped kids.....Davis has been all over the local southern Kalifornia news taking credit.
I come from a long line of Revolutionaries and Curmudgeons. We have served for generations, WWII, WWI, Cuba, CSA, Texas Revolution (Bexar and San Jac), Valley Forge, the expulsion from Canada, Scottish Highlands.
I look forward to any attempt, by anyone, to take Texas!
