The argument over whether it's nurture versus nature accomplishes nothing. I believe there probably is a genetic component associated with male gayness but of course that's probably a matter of degrees given how that's expressed. There are bisexuals for example that have no problem switch hitting. Is that genetic or environmentally induced? I don't think it matters. The reason it seems to matter is because the argument is made that since one is born that way it's normal and hence the clincher of the argument, the behavior must be acceptable as normal. I think there's probably a genetic predisposition for pedophilia but no one is arguing that it should be an acceptable alternative lifestyle, but give it time. Alcoholism probably involves a similar predisposition but I don't see members of DAMM(drunks against mad mothers) attempting to get lanes set aside on the freeway for their use only. I had a sister who brought forth the proposition that homosexuality couldn't be inborn because then it would have to be accepted as normal. Of course she was often known for such non-sequitars. What Gay activists want us to do is commit similar non-sequitars. And, by any measure they seem to have been quite successful!

DAMM(drunks against mad mothers) attempting to get lanes set aside on the freeway for their use only. That's the gay bicycle enthusiasts. <ducks>
