In the future people will look upon the carbon dioxide scare the way we now look upon the terror caused in the past by eclipses.

It's a measure that purports to reduce "greenhouse gas" emissions from California autos. But the much-debated legislation is scarcely more than vaguely worded symbolism whose ultimate impacts can only be guessed. ermest, the jerk never changes, does he ? At least walters gets it right.

Kids in my neighborhood eat peanutbuter, every morning and every nite. Lots of them can`t run laps. We must stop giving kids peanutbuter. dah

Ummm... carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and it is not causing asthma among these tykes. I have suffered from asthma all my life and know a thing or two about it.
Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and the "idiocy" is in believing that human beings are affecting the climate on more than a micro (urban heat island) level.
Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant and one doesn't have to be a capitalist-worshipper to realize that the "scientific concensus" is nothing of the sort, but rather a media-created myth.
Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, and if you "plan on having kids" chances are that I was a conservationist wandering the Muir Woods when you were just a gleam in your father's eye.

Oh, and environment is indeed very much politics.
To: ConstitutionMan
By the way, you seem very much concerned about "the children", and state that "environment is life", which begs the question: What is your position on abortion?
To: ConstitutionMan
By the way, carbon dioxide is not a pollutant.

Yep, first "they" cane for the smokers, and nobody gave a rat's rip about it...
Then "they" came for the gun owners, and still nobody cared...
Now "they" are comin' for the Soccer Moms... but they are the "last century's hot demographic group," so it will be interesting to see if anyone cares about them...
