Totally agree that the grass roots needs to work with!

I don't see this as someone with an axe to grind. You're more knowledgeable than I. Where is he wrong? It sounds to me as if he's saying "Here are mistakes Simon is making, here are loser staffers he's hired, here's what he ought to be doing -- we want him to win, so here's hoping he starts doing what he needs to do while there's still time!"

Followers can't get a leader elected who either won't lead, or shoots himself in the foot. Or won't shoot.

The problem is that the person who wrote this thinks that it was a total accident that Simon won the primary, that it had more to do with Davis than Simon. The fact is, Riordan would have won the primary if Simon wasn't there as an alternative candidate. Simon set himself up to take the votes from Riordan once the electorate discovered how truly bad Riordan was.

But according to this person, Simon's campaign did everything wrong in the primary. I completely disagree.
