A legal, 12-year-old business transaction can be cast as a scandal when news is slow and the media querulous but determined.
This week, President Bush's distant oil-stock sale has been tooled into a shameful icon of big business, at least among those print and broadcast journalists in search of a chink in the White House armor.

I swear, if we get hit again, there's going to be a target on the face of every single journalist out there who played these games. The American people won't forget this.
BTW, I'm including FOX in this because, other than Brit Hume, every one of those $%#@$ acted like there was something to that Harkins deal when they knew full well there was absolutely NOTHING.
What is the matter with them? Do they think this is still the 90's and everything is just hunky dory? Have they forgotten 9-11 already? Are they so jaded that they've forgotten that we have men and women in harms way while they're cavorting about business scandals and distracting the administration while they're fighting for our lives?
I don't know about you kattracks, but this makes me sick!

It's obvious they don't care about the military, they haven't even passed the budget, there's every possiblity that our soldiers, out in the middle of nowhere, running down the terrorists, will get a letter from home telling them there was no check deposited in the account. Do the democrats care? Do the "illustrious" fourth estate? Shoot no! It's not as important to them as the election. I swear, these people are lower than dirt!
Bush, if he would have waited 14 months, could have sold his stock for double what he got when he did sell it.
Oil & gas powers your computer, F#ckhead, next time you want to jump in here, praise your egg-sucking boy, al Goron, the moron who invented the internet.
Swearing may be cool over at DU, but here it is considered passe, useful for idiots like you, but no one else.
I think he may be right here. Care to give me your address. I need the reward money. On second thought I would do it for free.
Great minds think alike, I asked pussieboy the same thing when I freepmailed him/her.
Check out Mr. rhetoric's posts here for lower than dirt.
He's probably gone now, the little chickensh!t.
Judging by the pronounced increase in democRAT disruptors who've been registering here in FR lately to post their obscene rants, it must be getting close to election time.
