FYI, the Village Voice is a subsidiary of the Tribune Co., one of the outlets we cannot post full articles from anymore. I'm 99% sure I saw it on the list.

The Voice is its own company. It used to be owned by Leonard Stern until 2000, when he sold it to a group of private investors. It's now a little mini-empire of loony left newspapers called "Village Voice Media." They own the LA Weekly and OC Weekly and a few others. Which is a longwinded way of saying: They have no relationship to the TribCo or the WashPostCo. Post away. We could use the laughs.

(Amusingly, the Voice was once owned by Rupert Murdoch.)

Thanks for the info. I got my facts straight (see post #36). I had wanted to post something from the Voice a few weeks ago, but refrained because I thought it was on "The List." I'm glad, because this stuff is just too hilarious to excerpt. There's nothing like crawling into the thought process of a leftist.
