"Harvey Pitt was put in place to clean up a mess..." Bush told a news conference. The president's control never ceases to amaze me. He clearly sees the national and international messes the Clinton/Gore drones left him to clean up (some intentionally, like signing the Kyoto and ICC treaties.)
And, yet, President Bush never reacts by pointing the finger of blame back at either of the Clintons, or Gore; no matter how they goad him.
I really give Bush credit for doing what few, if any, political figures in his position could do. Not only is the president a patient man, he really is the "anti-Clinton".
I just finished watching the Press Conference on Real Player here at work and it never ceases to amaze me how honest this president is. He answered each questioned honestly and with more patience than I would have with these obvious agenda driven reporters.
Again, where did all these messes really start? I know where they can end and I am hoping that they will soon. They will if trust can be established again. The DemocRATs are continuing to amaze me. But then they let Clinton run the show and seem to continue to do so.
