I have tried to find that thread more than once. Not only because I pasted lots of good stuff in there but because independentmind also had contributed an article worth keeping.

Since then, I've found (and used =) what I think is the same article of independentmind's on Rumsfeld and Carlyle but not the original thread.

It's possible it went down the memory hole if the original poster got nuked. I'll give it a try, though.

I was hoping we were going to get to dredge up the Gallup poll article, actually. Perhaps that will serve if the Carlyle article has indeed been destroyed.

I believe the title of the thread had something to do with Judicial Watch ... is that your recollection as well?

I remember that one; if I remember correctly, Judicial Watch arrived late to the party; in other words, he was piling on long after the Carlyle discussions had been over and done with, at least for that "duration" of that "news story." It was one of the many articles about the Carlyle Group though. (You know very well JW never has relevant press releases. ) And for some reason, I'm thinking it was BEFORE the bin Laden family got drug into all of it, but I could be wrong.

That wasn't the one I was thinking of. It had a LOT of replies though, that I remember.
