Here's a simple question for you. Lets hypothetically say their is a gay gene, now granted this would not explain the high amount of gay activity in prisons with people who used to live straight lives, nor would it explain why a mjority of pedaphiles are gay, (the research that said a majority of pedaphiles were straight was done by "changing the definition" of gay to consentual sex between to adult males, and labeling bisexuals as heterosexuals, etc). If there was a gay gene, and research was done on it, and they found away to "cure" or "correct" it, do you think for one second the gay community would allow it to happen? and do you think child molestation would go up, down or stay the same?

If such genetic matter that was a behavioral determinant in fact was discovered and along with that discovery a way to neutralize it, I would imagine probably the "Gay" officialdom (organizations, spokespeople, famous Congressmen) would SOLIDLY be 100% against its use and would lobby hard against any medical action that would negate this characteristic.

All the while 60%-80% perhaps of rank and file homosexuals, including those even in 'movement leadership' would probably seek private and aggressive ways to indulge in treatment to cast off their homosexuality forever. At the end of the day I think they would have to be honest with themselves and choose the way out that would liberate them of all of the darkness and suffering. Just theorizin' here.....
