Last year the city council "borrowed" one million bucks from the sewer replacement fund to build a fancy boardwalk at the foot of F st. Last month they raised water rates 50 % over the next three years to replace the main water line. (this boardwalk cost the equivalent of $32,000,000. a mile)

Will anyone even use that boardwalk?

That whole area re the politicians seems to have inhaled too much from the 1960's, 70's, 80's, 90's and appears from this boardwalk incidence to be continuing in this century.

Didn't Humboldt county vote big time for Goron, the only county north of the bay area to do so?
