Sunday June 30, 2002; 12:21 a.m. EDT Report: 'Lily Whites' Recruited to Carry Out OKC Bombing A congressional task force investigating the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing had information suggesting that Islamic plotters recruited two "lily whites" - non-Middle Easterners with no connection to prior terrorist activity - to carry out the attack ultimately perpetrated by Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, according to a report broadcast late Saturday. Terrorism expert Yoseff Bodansky discussed the previously secret evidence obtained by Congress during an interview with Fox News Channel's Rita Cosby. COSBY: I'm going to read some information that we obtained here at Fox News - something else you wrote that, more importantly, that the congressional task force learned: That two "lily whites" - these are people sort of considered non-Middle Easterners - had been recruited to carry out the bombing of an American federal building. BODANSKY: "Lily whites" are people that have no - nothing to do with ethnic background, that's not true. "Lily whites" is the term used for people who have no past known encounter with security authorities anywhere in the U.S. or anywhere in the world. And therefore, there's no way they will raise an alarm bell with the security authorities once they're involved in something. COSBY: So these are people who would sort of be out of the scope? BODANSKY: It can be somebody from the heart of Africa, somebody from the middle of Australia or anywhere else. (End of Excerpt) Couple Bodansky comments with a report on Judicial Watch Radio last week, where Judicial Watch co-counsel Mike Johnson detailed a very specific warning that came just hours before the OKC bombing from Washington, D.C.'s then-top terrorism expert. "Vincent Cannistraro, who is the former Chief of Counter-Terrorism for the CIA, called Special (FBI) Agent Kevin L. Foust, and informed him that one of his best sources from Saudi Arabia intelligence specifically advised him that there was a squad of people currently in the United States, very possibly Iraqi, and I'm quoting, 'who have been tasked with carrying out terrorist acts against the United States,'" said Johnson. "The Saudi informant, who's part of the Saudi Counter-Terrorism Service, told him that he had seen the list and that 'first on the list was the Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.'" Johnson said other targets on the Saudi informant's list included Immigration of Naturalization Service offices in Houston and what was then the FBI's counterterrorism headquarters in Los Angeles.
Yeah, right. July 4, 2002, LAX. Read it and confess stupidity please.

we certainly do! that's why OKCsubmariner is so committed to bringing the truth on re: murrah.
From FR Forum---- McVeigh diagrams ANFO bomb: Details show larger device than government official..
link to FR forum discussion of WND article
"Jim Crandell, an inspector and former field agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, also denied knowledge of any other devices in the building.
"I can't comment at all on whether there might have been additional explosives in the building because I simply don't know," Crandell told WND. But, he said, it was ATF's policy "not to store explosives in any of our offices."
"We maintain explosives bunkers for" storage of explosive materials, he added, noting that ATF sometimes uses local storage facilities operated by local law enforcement agencies. He did say that the agency stored some of its own weapons at its offices, and he denied that ATF agents were tipped to the bombing the morning it occurred.
I may be noo but not as noo as yoo...
You are appearently completely UNAWARE of the volumes of material I post, cite or reference to BUTTRESS my air-tight position during an argument!) ...
Right. Like the excessively windy post to which this is a reply.
You ramble on ad infinitum, ad nauseum without so much as one fact, one citation or one link to support your view that 9/11 was just a simple operation carried out by a few pickup players from the nearest Arab playground.
Maybe this rundown of the hijackers and their residences will offer a little more in defining what resources were employed in this operation, e.g., you don't keep this many people in this many diverse locations without lots of money, lots of contacts (conspirators?) and lots of communications.

_Jim has (unwittingly) provided one reason as to why Nichols isn't talking. (another reason is he wants to keep breathing) All Nichols knows is 'McVeigh'. McVeigh may be the only 'Lily white' with knowledge of the ME connection.
One of his biggest agendas being minimizing or destroying political opposition. The OKC bombing was an opportunity. (At the very least.) It would have severely diminished the effect of his rhetoric that 'right wing talk radio' was responsible if the FBI and the media were talking about a ME connection. (Or source.)
You are right about that. Perhaps they did. See post #41 here.
Look at the second section of this long post. It is titled "Defense Department Special Briefing Re: U.S. Military Support for Oklahoma City". Specifically, scroll down to the red highlighted text of an interview with Major General Robert H. Scales, Jr, Director, Military Support, Dept. of Defense. Here is a little of that interview:
Q And the secretary said this morning that DOD had offered Arabic speakers.
GEN. SCALES: Yes.
Q And that he expected that they already had been accepted by Justice or would be. Have they been? Are they being --
GEN. SCALES: We received a request late yesterday to provide eight to 10 Arabic speakers, and we passed that requirement on to Forces Command. And usually it doesn't take long to assemble those Arabic speakers, and they should be available probably tomorrow for dispatch.
It seems that several ME terrorist groups tried to take credit. I watched all I could on TV at the time. I never heard a word of it.
Here's another snip of it:
Q Perhaps to flog a horse here, why Arabic speakers? Were you told why?
GEN. SCALES: Well, the information I have from the FBI is that the -- of the different groups that have claimed responsibility, I think it's eight groups claimed responsibility for this incident and seven of them claim to be from the Middle Eastern countries, so it would just be logical to me that they would ask for Arabic-speaking translators.
Does that help?
Anyone who knows anything about the militia's groups movement of the late '80's and early '90's knows that the vast majority of them had no connection or interest with white supremacy groups or racist ideas. That is exactly what the Clinton government and media propaganda spin coming out of the OKC bombing was meant to accomplish. Connecting 'militia' groups with racism. It worked. Most militia groups are history now.
It was also used to connect gun owners, Christians and 'right wing' conservatives to racism and 'anti-government' attitudes. Does anyone remember the Clinton administration being just a tad anti-2nd Ammendment? Hmmmmmmmm, _Jim?
The militia movement most certainly was anti-government in the eyes of the Clinton administration. They were all about 'getting back to a Constitutionally governed system'. Abiding by the Constitution would be death (literally in Bill and Al's case) to the way pols now operate.
Answer the question and quit acting so high and mighty.
The question was...What do you *think* you deserve?
I replied..."From you?"
I was trying to answer your question. However, I needed more information to do so sufficiently. Just trying to get some clarification. Nothing "high and mighty" about that at all IMO. It seems you disagree. So be it.
Can you clarify?
And in case you can't, or won't...it doesn't matter what I *think* I "deserve", as if I "deserve" anything from you or anyone else to begin with, which IMO I don't, you're going to give me what you *think* I "deserve", regardless, and you obviously think I "deserve" contempt, ridicule and scorn in varying degrees.
Have a nice day...
BTW, I haven't seen much on FR of late from any of the folks to whom you addressed your 'bump'. Are any of them still active here? Or have they migrated to LibertyPost -- or wherever OKCSub posts now...?
OKC seems to have a low news profile now. However, I should have been watching Jayna Davis' website more closely: I missed a couple of articles that should have been posted on FR...
BTW -- Thanks for the bump!

didn't mean to be misleading, but I thought dusting this old piece off was timely.
as far as the flags, I tried to notify some of the old posters that had interest in this story.
