Hmmm... last I recall that's about the margin that RINOs LOST BY in candidates like Tom Campbell, John Seymour and others. Leave Simon alone and shoot Parsky. Its time for him to retire in San Diego and play Risk! on the computer all day since power and control seems all he is interested in. It certainly isn't ideology, freedom, principle or values.
No, it says that I don't view Simon as being effective. I support him; but he needs to get out and campaign. I'm on his mailing list, and the first I heard about his visit to San Diego was this morning. That says that he's not even TRYING to communicate with his base--or, by extension, anyone else.

Simon ought to be crushing Doofus by at least 30%, given how badly Doofus is running this state. He ought to be drawing huge crowds because Doofus is so inept. He ought to be getting his message out no matter WHAT the press is doing.
He's doing none of these. And Grayout Doofus will get an uninterrupted summer to paint a false picture of Simon. He's already got the "bomb damage assessment" from his first round of ads, and he's going to run another set that will be much more effective. By Labor Day, Simon will be the Antichrist--and he'll have one hell of a time losing the image in just two months.
The only people in California who make or break a GOP campaign are the candidates--the party has always been a nonplayer, mostly because of little egomaniacs like Parsky and Steel. If you're gearing up to blame Parsky for Simon's problems, it's a sign of how inept Simon's campaign is.
