For weeks on end, ChaseR posted the evidence of sinkWilly's perfidy with the Chinese; when a Catholic thread arose, Proud2bRC would patiently debate the naysayers; if a fool supporting murder on demand (abortion my the Democrat, Al Goulish so willingly flaunts) diened to post an apology for abortion on demand, Askel5 would systematically shred the faulty logic; Kristin and others have stood the barrackades, to freep the sycophancy of clintonism; Iron Jack awakens from the slumber of brilliancy ignored, to post regularly at FreeRepublic; and Alan Keyes has exchanged with freepers, albeit in at least two pseudonym incarnations of note ... FreeRepublic is! Yes, there are too many asleep at the helm of state; and yes, there is a sad lack of attention on the part of too many Americans, but FreeRepublic is the accidental grace of Jim Robinson, et al, vying on the scene for attention of the awakened few!
As a writer, have I not envied the sharp clarity of Iron Jack's occasional posts?... Have we not marveled at Askel5's patience with the serial killer apologists?... Does the debate among Howlin, Torie, and the Keyes supporters not stir us to thought? Could Jim Robinson have even guessed that his passion would blossom so fully?

The lettters written to expose the absurdity of abortion on demand and partial birth infanticide were spread nationwide to local papers via Freepers! Possibly less than a hundred Freepers were actually influential in the last election, via their ability to network and effect public opinion.
