GW doesn't look like anyone who would tolerate being threatened Are you nuts? GW does not need to be threatened. All he needs to be told is that his poll number may diminish. That is enough for him to strike any deal.

The only president who was that infatuated with his personal poll numbers was Bubba. He hired pollsters before he made any decision, and even change policy in mid-step when the polls dropped on him.
If this administration was infatuated with polls, we'd have attacked an outhouse in Iraq by now with a 40 cruise missiles and called it quits to avoid further risk.
The wording alone of the 'quotes' from the dems is clearly fake. They look like they were written by a pulp fiction writer.

No, I am not nuts,no AUSA is going to ignore evidence of a crime. And anyone who says they would, doesn't know squat about what it means to be a career prosecutor-these people are not political appointees and take their jobs very seriously. The whole scenario is ludicrous.
