Yes, it was. And those attorneys are NOT the same thing as HIRED, not appointed, career government employees. Those people serve at the pleasure of the president; it had never happened before that he accepted ALL the resignations.
No matter how somebody with an agenda might try to dress it up, it's not the same.
You cannot fire government employees just because they aren't of your political party. Just ask Ashcroft; he went to Congress to get rid of some of the Clinton people and was told in no uncertain terms NO......so he had to move them laterally.
Thanks for passing along that information. I'd like to ruminate on that one for awhile, and possibly do a little research. Something stunk there, that's for sure.
