GOP right in Iowa fear 'purge'

Conservatives claim they are about to be "purged" from the Iowa Republican Party in a move that could have national repercussions.

They say conservatives are the target of a proposed amendment to the state party constitution that would bar Republican officials from publicly endorsing or working on behalf of any candidate in primary or caucus elections.

Their concern is less for the 'purging' than the money that gets kicked back to them for their endorsements. Read between the lines.

Thanks for the post. We're going to do our best to beat it. Seems to me if this is such a good idea, it would be an even better idea to extend it to all county central committee members.

Being a delegate, I'm trying to figure out what disease they're trying to cure.
