We must win elections at all costs.

I say we appeal to the right-handed people of the US. Put the left-handers on notice that they can expect a 80% income tax to fund entitlements to all the right-handed people.

We must motivate the right-handers to vote for our candidate. They are a majority, after all.

As I said, the evangelicals were not turning out in the numbers that were expected by Bush and Rove. So they are going to try to make up the difference. Why are you so surprised? Politicians have their pride, too.

If you won't work for them, why should they work for you?

Two short years ago, I would actually have made that statement, and believed it.

I'm too old and I've been burnt to many times. If a politician won't stand up for principles, I won't stand up for the politician.

I've had my name removed from the RNC and the RPV (Republican Party of Virginia) mailing lists.

I'll still vote for GOP candidates (George Allen will always get my vote). But I won't ever again be considered one of the "party faithful."
