We 'pay' politicians with out votes. If we keep 'paying' them to do a horrible job, then a horrible job they will do. Why should they change when there are no negative consequences from their 'boss'?

That's a pretty weak analogy. Since you are likely the only one to hire someone to cut your yard then you can make whatever decision you want concerning who you hire. However in this case millions of people voted and the decision belongs to all of them. Those childish enough to throw away their vote and not vote deserve whatever they get anyway
In other words those who pack their bags and walk away have no complaint with whatever happens. You are obviously not happy with Bush, I am happy with him and think he is doing the best job he can do with the hand he was dealt. Besides I don't think I agree with all your agenda anyway so I probably ought to pack my bags if he gives you what you want. Only thing is I'm not childish enough to do that.
