This type of article really irritates.

The 300 pound gorilla that nobody wants to take about and which is at the heart of this initiative is citizenship.

Without proof of citizenship there is usually no conventional loan. This is euphemistically referred to in the article as the difficutly of the purchasing process.

More of 43's pandering to the illegal alien tide engulfing our country.

You got it right. Further, in some (maybe many) cases, after a year of living in new homes, they are lost because of late (or no) payments, leaving the homes uninhabitable for anyone else.

If we got rid of 50% of the social programs, the genuinely poor elderly could easily have prescriptiion assistance, and we'd still have lower debt.
