Blame, No. After the midterm elections and he can finally have both the House and the Senate on his side and agenda, then I can "blame". I fully support a repeal of the income tax, abolition of estate and capital gains taxes amongst many other "changes". We will never have another chance like this after November to accomplish these sorely needed reforms. Of course, it is as likely none of these things will haPPen, but now is as good as time as any to start laying the foundation. Don't begrudge Bush and his actions thus far, some things even a president can't change whether they want to or not.

The way Bush is going, he will never get the Senate back, because he has played into the hands of Democrats. Senate Democrats will start taking credits for forcing Bush to support their programs, and they will come off looking stronger. Bush made some stupid judgement errors by playing into the Democratic politics, and he will pay for it.

Don't begrudge Bush and his actions thus far, some things even a president can't change whether they want to or not. What a load. Bush is proposing most of this crap, and hasn't found the word VETO in his vocabulary. The congress is following his lead. Blackbird.
