Our California tax dollars at work!
I'm reminded of Bill Clinton's comments against tax cuts: "People might spend the money the wrong way."
Food for thought.

"Proudly displaying a copy of the state's check for $250,000, Mitulski said it's perfectly appropriate..."
In the middle of a $24 billion budget shortfall? With a fire season starting that will be especially horrible because of laid-off firefighters? With shaky energy supplies and a looming water shortage?
These folks have a strange sense of priorities.
Go Simon!

They're still figuring out how applicants would be screened LOL! I have an idea how to screen applicants. However, the moderator would pull my post and I've already one strike against me. One prerequisite could be that all applicants must have false teeth.

"It's (for) bisexuals and transgendered, who by the way can be heterosexual people, but queer identified. It's gay and lesbian, and it's our friends and family that are accepting of us," said Jim Mitulski, executive director of the Rainbow community. So, they want straight people to be identified as homosexual but, if a pair of homosexuals are told to knock it off on the lovey-dovey crap and act straight, they have an instant lawsuit win.
