So instead of consolidating similar agencies that coudl have a bearing into one department, you think a simpler solution is to put the entire gov't under military control.

I will certaintly give that some thought.

There is no end to what I might learn from the Bush haters if I only listen.

No I think that that consolidating agencies is a waste of time and money. I think fixing the problem is directly related to intelligence gathering, especially human intelligence. I think stopping stove piping between the agencies will go much further than consolidating. I think revamping the way things are done within the agencies will goes much further than consolidating. We can act if we have the right analysis, the right intelligence. We do not need another NEW agency that will go no where real fast.

I think that if we revamped the Central Intelligence Agesncy who by law is suppose to be the central gathering point and fixing the FBI using common sense internally will solve more problems than creating a new agency of 170,000 employees.
