The fact that you do not see any degree of separation between Bush and Clinton indicates you don't pay much attention to the detail of issues, and aren't familiar with how legislation is made. As someone posted here (to which I agree), if a score of 100 represents the perfect conservative President, Bush probably rates a 40; Gore would have been a MINUS-100. If I agree with Bush more times that not, I'm pleased. I would have likely agreed with Gore about 0% of the time.

re read post. it was never stated there is no diff. btwn. klinton and bush. only: many things bush has done would have been roundly criticized by those who will give him a pass now. ideas and the advocacy and support of them matter, not who is in office. otherwise, you get a "more statism-less statism" 'choice'. its' about ideas, thats' all.
