Just as I don't give Clinton credit for conservative moves he had to make due to his '94 catastrophe, I will refrain from thinking Bush has left the reservation for now. Now if he gets GOP majorities in both houses this year and doesn't veer starboard, I'll try to yell as loud as anyone.
What do you mean "if"? I thought the whole strategy of taking the "issues" away from the Democrats was to ensure Republican Majorities in congress. If we don't get solid majorities in congress, then what was the point? Karl Rove has guaranteed a Republican victory, don't worry;-)
