The libs understand incrementalism. We either learn how to fight them on those terms or we are going end up bitter and disapointed.

This is a great response! The reset of the 'bots need to learn these manners and the helpful approach.

On the other hand, I have never spoken negatively about Bush. I rather like the man ... and met him in person when he visited Atlanta during the campaign. (Yes, I went to the rally.) I have voiced disappointment over some "action items" compared to what continues as "unfinished business". To sustain the sort of attacks metted out by these alleged conservatives has been very telling. Those who will merely remind our peers that there is plenty more work to be done are being eaten by our own kind.

Bush is not as conservative as I, at least his political manipulations certaily are not. Thank you for your level-headed objectivity.

I can sum up that in one word -- JEFFORDS! The amount of time and effort in getting Ashcroft confirmed was a travesty! The DemocRATS did everything they could to torpedo that nomination. And then Ashcroft had a hard time getting anyone else confirmed to help him out. Most of the people in key positions in the agencies were clintonites for months because confirmations couldn't get out of committees after Jeffords moved across the aisle.

Also have to remember that thanks to clinton/gore, there was not a real transition. Then clinton's GSA guy wouldn't release funds even after the SCOTUS Ruling for the transition until after the Electoral College had voted. Everything possible was done to torpedo a smooth start of this Administration by the clintonites! Always was in the back of my mind if they didn't do this all on purpose to make sure that the Bush Administration had no time for anything clinton!

Sum up what? I'm not sure which of my points you are trying to counter. Is that the reason you are giving for the Bush DOJ for 8 months not investigating? If so, I don't buy it. You can't blame the failure to investigate the Riady non-refund on this since Ashcroft was confirmed by the time that disclosure occurred and they had 5 months after that to do SOMETHING. They did NOTHING. And that is true time and time again. IMO, you are spinning to dismiss facing the truth.
