I did support George Bush heart and soul
from before the first primaries began
I think you will agree with me I was never mistaken in his lovely character
However when he became prez I discovered priorities of GOP and my priorities were not the same
I tried to accept it by saying people have free will to do what they want
(but I spent a year being frustrated)
finally I resolved it by realizing my heart has always been libertarian, and I would work for libertarian causes
I want to stop the war on drugs
I still think the decision not to prosecute clinton corruption will have unpleasant repercussions
but I realize we gave the power to the GOP, they can handle whatever comes up

I had fellow poster on Lcom who voted Libertarian in 2000
he has been so impressed with President Bush's leadership on war
that he is now champion supporter of President Bush
the GOP may have lost me to the Libertarian Party
but they also picked up lotsa new voters
politics is always fluid
