[history]
In a tearful outburst to a legislative committee Thursday, a suspended state technology director charged that Gov. Gray Davis' top computer aide "leveraged the governor's name in a bad light" and may have intimidated a potential political donor in the computer industry.

SACRAMENTO - Emotionally frazzled and often in tears, the man at the center of the Oracle contract debacle told state lawmakers Thursday that he had been smeared, abused and abandoned by the Davis administration after being suspended for his role in the controversy....sounds like date rape to me...

The Assembly's closed-circuit television system, which beams committee hearings to other parts of the Capitol, inexplicably went dark just as Cortez began his criticism of the Davis administration. Dan, a lot of Freepers have complained about my posts and replies since Jan 2001, where I have labeled and called Davis a Fascist.
This and the revelations the past two months should remove any doubt that Davis is a very dangerous fascist!
Sic Heil Herr Davis! Death to the truth and morality is your motto!

Well I don't know that I would call him a fascist (though you have every right to) but he certainly styles himself as a dictator. I did my best reference known dictators of varying idealogies (a free-market monarchist, a fascist, and a homicidal lunatic.)

Davis = Benito wannabee

Has this guy been trained in Hollywierd........"I feel I have been not only abandoned
by this administration but I have been abused by this process," said Cortez....... {{{Sniff}}} I think I'm going to choke up {{{{sob}}}.
Watta lotta bunk. You get involved with "tolerant, compassionate" liberals, that's what happens.
They leave you high and dry in order to save themselves. (Rob Reiner no doubt coached the guy.)
